Qualcomm has made an offer to acquire Intel
Chip giant Intel is currently facing challenging times. Due to falling behind in AI technology compared to other companies, this once-popular chip manufacturer is continuously losing market share. In this context, another chip maker, Qualcomm, has proposed to acquire Intel, according to Reuters.
The report states that Qualcomm has recently made an offer to fully acquire Intel. Qualcomm's CEO, Cristiano Amon, is reportedly overseeing the acquisition process and reviewing various options related to this matter.
Discussions between the two parties are still in the preliminary stages, and no formal offer has been made to Intel by Qualcomm.
No responses have been received from either Intel or Qualcomm regarding this matter.
